From her Berlin studio and Bath Contact Labor, a darkroom currently in development and set to open to the public in September, Daphné Lejeune pursues a photographic practice grounded in analog film and guided by an acute sensitivity to the materiality of the image.

A graduate of ESAG Penninghen in Paris, she first honed her eye within the world of perfumery. Her work gravitates toward still lifes and contemplative objects, where the image acquires a physical dimension through experimental processes (photogram, solarization, cyanotype), lending her prints a palpable presence and a singular sense of time.
